Rob, Lisa and Rambling Dave at C95 were the number one radio
morning show in 2000 , when Lisa was diagnosed with metastatic
breast cancer at the age of 35 years. Seven years later Lisa is
still battling cancer publicly and privately and
stands as a great example and inspiration to all affected by
cancer. In 2006 Lisa was recognized by the YWCA as a Woman of
Distinction for her work through events such as the Lisa Rendall
Golf Classic and the C95 Radio Marathon for Breast Cancer
Research. Learn more about Lisa and her battle at

Many businesses like to say that
"they will treat you like family". At Scotiabank they
really do.
Scotiabank has treated us with
dignity, respect and honour from the inception of the CD project
"Sea of Pink - Angel". Scotiabank very generously funded
the project enabling us to meet the requirements in the
agreement with Sarah McLachlan (royalty free) so that 100 % of
the retail price shall be donated to the cause. Scotiabank
has provided Pink Warrior with the opportunity for as much as
three times the amount we initially asked for through a special
program. In addition the Scotiabank has used it's network
of branches and committed staff to distribute and sell the CD's.
"Thank you from the bottom of
our hearts for your dedication in the form of funding, time,
locations and most of all the great people that make Scotiabank
different." Kelly Gatzke

Since 2000 C95 has encouraged businesses, listeners and members
of the community to pitch in and help raise money for breast
cancer research. All of the fundraising efforts culminate in a
36 hour live radio marathon in October each year, where they
speak to breast cancer survivors, their families and cancer
research specialists to bring awareness to this disease. It’s an
emotional and inspiring 2 days of radio! To date, Saskatoon and
its surrounding communities have joined together to help raise
$1.1 million dollars for breast cancer research!
Tune in October 25th and 26th for the 8th annual C95 Radio
Marathon for Breast Cancer Research at 95.1FM in Saskatoon and

The missions of “Prairie Women on Snowmobiles” are provincial
awareness events designed to focus attention on breast cancer
and the recreation of snowmobiling as well as raise the
much-needed funds for breast cancer research. PWOS has
contributed 100% of the funds raised for research which to
date is more than $900,000.00 in seven missions. Each year this
cavalcade of women volunteer snowmobilers travel across
Saskatchewan, passing through many cities and towns in eight
days. Sleds and riders start and finish the approximate 1800 km
ride with numerous sleds and riders joining throughout the ride.
